I cheated and looked the answers up at a walkthrough, but I'm stuck too... I answered every question of Quiz 2 properly, added all the right justifications, and I *still* get "We must have made an error, Watson. Let's check our answers."
Has anyone else had this problem? How to fix it?

I used these answers:

1. Did Horace Fowlett receive a caller the evening he was supposed to leave? Answer: Yes.
Justify: Click the dialogue (Sherlock with man) tab and select Murray Fowlett House dialogue. Click on blue quiz frame.

2. Were all the guests in the ballroom at the time of the shooting? Answer: Yes.
Justify: Select the Development of the crime (Lestrade report).

3. Did Sir Bromsby and his daughter have a good relationship? Answer: No.
Justify: Select Hermann Grimble, Sherringford Hall, 15th of October, 1897.

4. Was Horace Fowlett aware of the problems between Hermann Grimble and Sir Bromsby? Answer: Yes.
Justify: Select letter from Bromsby to Fowlett 11/12/96.

5. Was there anything missing from Horace Fowlett's house? Answer: Yes.
Justify: Select Fowlett's bedroom. The bed is not made, pillow is missing.

6. Did somebody enter through the window at the Fowlett's house? Answer: Yes.
Justify:
Fowlett's bedroom: outside window have no bars and is kept closed with a screwdriver.
Garden: footprints with traces of soil of size 10 size on barrel under the window.

A little about the game..

Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder which is the first of a series of three games, is a panoramic first person 3D adventure/horror thriller game which takes place in an imaginary "Lovecraftian" place called Wellsmoth. The story of the game was written with the help of the impressions of the great writer H.P. Lovecraft’s works. So players will encounter a dark and frightening world to interact with, and sinister characters to speak with or beware of. Thus, the game’s environment and characters were designed appropriately for the series' main objective which is to give fear, psychological pressure and most important of all, a Lovecraftian feeling to the gamer. This Lovecraftian environment is enriched with a deep and immersing story, cinematics and music.

 Fowlett's house - no book

Can anyone help? I have completed all puzzles, etc in the house but can't leave.

I went to cheats/walkthrough to find out why - the walkthrough says that there is a book on the bottom shelf of the living room bookcase that should be clicked on and read, with an Aesop's Fable moral circled. I have clicked on every book in that bookcase, from the bottom up, with no results - nothing happens.

I have left this game sitting for the past year because of this. I have been unable to find a patch or fix for it.

If anyone has any answers it'd be appreciated~

Thanks

I found out how to shoot the lock with only aiming once:

before you shoot the lock, RIGHT-CLICK the lock. Samuel will say something like it's already rusty on the right side. Then when you aim directly over the lock and shoot, it's a perfect shot. Then you have one bullet left to kill the wolf outside.

I tried it a few times, it works each time.
